    pray to who ?

is there a GFFA Equivalent to god . or does every planet or species in SW have its own religon or beliefs ? . I wonder this because in SW when they talk about the force , they make it sound religious , but never go into details about who what and where it all started from . are midiclorians god like creatures ? . is there any official info on religon in SW ?

    just wondering .

It doesn't necessarily mean that he's telling Lando pray to a particular God or anything, he could just be telling him to hope really strongly.

pray - To make a fervent request or entreaty.

Different planets have different belief systems. For example, on Corellia (Han's home planet), there are nine different forms of Hell.

"For example, on Corellia (Han's home planet), there are nine different forms of Hell."

That gives a whole new meaning to Han's line "Then I'll see you in hell!" How can he be so sure when there are nine from which to select?

There's probably hundreds of religions in the galaxy.
Telling somebody to pray for something means just that only supernatural powers can accomplish what the other will be praying for. It's a simple threat.

Whatever happens, don't believe in the Yuuzhan Vong religion. If that's the one true religion in the GFFA, they're all doomed ;)

The Galaxy Far, Far Away; since it doesn't really have a name, that's what people call it.

    Help me. Save me

Read a little EU novel called The Crystal Star; not only will it cure you of your addiction, it will give you nightmares. :)

The Crystal Star will help, but if you read any of Michael Stackpole's books, it won't matter anyway. The true awesomeness of the X-wing series more than makes up for the crapiness of Crystal Star.

As this is an EU-friendly forum, I'll highly recommend the large number of quality books in the Star Wars series and just quietly try not to mention Crystal Star at all *cough*

Apologies to any Crystal Star fans. Both of you.

In other words, Vader was telling Calrissian that he should be scared of what he could do to him. Any further alterations of the deal meant Vader killing Lando. After he said that notice how Lando touched his wind pipe. Vader was sending him a very strong message of what could happen if he continued to question Vader.

    Pray... to the Maker.

Which to C3P0, would have been Anakin. So, Threepio would have prayed to Darth anyways.

    THE.
