If George was president....

A friend and I were discussing last night what would happen if George Lucas was voted president?

Would we have instead of a Delta Force a Jedi Force?

With the funding could he have the military start using lightsabers?

Would the military have striter rules and be brought up as a military unit from youth?

What do you think?

And what would you want Lucas to do as president?

 

Isnt "George" already president?

 

I don't think George would make his movies reality.

And as far as I know. The technology we have will not be able to mae lightsabers. There is lots of issues with that field.

(What, do you want to see George is all the galmorous clothes, and change the White House into a palace?)

 

Marines would wear white armour and wouldn't be able to hit the broad side of a barn from point blank range.

I'd vote for GL. I think he'd do a good job. As simple as that sounds.

 

He could send Sam Jackson to cut off Osama Bin Laden's head.

As much as I love GL's work, I don't think much of his political views and would never vote for him. Entertainment Celebrities should not run for political office.

 

Yea, he is a little too liberal for me. He does have experience delegating and overseeing a lot of people though.

I agree. The last time a celeb became president it was ronald reagan, from the movie bed time for bonzo,

How our forefathers would really have it to be. They just didn't have the technology in place back then to do it right.

 

Actually, American Constitution - Special Edition is a reality. The constitution was designed by the forefathers in order that it could be flexible and be amended to change with the times. It's very difficult to amend it but it is possible and on important issues, necessary.
