Is it just me... or does everybody seem to be dying?

I just heard today that Johnny Cash and John Ritter both died within the last 24 hours.

Added to (in no particular order)

Mr. Rogers
Barry White
Warren Zevon
Bob Hope
Wesley Willis

and anyone else I forgot who passed away this year.

 

A lot of famous people die every year, but some of the recent deaths have been rather shocking, especially John Ritter's. That's just terrible to die from something you didn't know about. I mean, Johnny Cash I can understand, he was older and had health problems, but for someone much younger and apparently healthy like John Ritter to die is just...wow. It's difficult to accept.
