Her name is Emmy. I have not seen her post in awhile. She's on Facebook. She took up either ballroom or Latin dancing and has entered contests. She hatted for a little while. And she was kidding.

I wonder if I could ever sail to such a place even if I had a 40+ foot sailboat. The Caribbean has large swaths of water between many isalnds, but they are still close together. To get tp the Maldives from here a couple of oceans would have to be crossed. It's not the being alone or isolated part that bothers me, I could go to Mars by myself. But oceans are dangerous. I have crossed them in a large military vessel and that was no picinic sometimes. There is water sometimes so smooth it looks like flowing glass, especially at night. Then there are seas that will make an aircraft carrier dip its bow.

 

My birthday is coming up soon.
