    JJ is making moves.

"Tom Cruise is reportedly in talks to appear in the new 'Star Wars' film.

The star has met director JJ Abrams to discuss a cameo role in 'Star Wars: Episode VII', which is currently being filmed in the UK.

    Tom Cruise
A source told The Sun: “Tom has been in London for over a week and met up with JJ and some other people from Star Wars at the weekend.

“On Saturday evening five of them met up for dinner and drinks at the Belgravia Hotel. JJ produced M:I5 and loves working with Tom whenever he gets the chance."

According to the newspaper, the film's producers have time to create a role for the 'Mission Impossible' star after filming was set back following Harrison Ford's on-set accident.

“Losing Harrison is going to set things back a little scheduling wise and there’s some time to play around with,” the source added.

Last week it emerged that Harrison Ford is reportedly going against the advice of his doctors, and is planning to return to the set of ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ despite being told by medical professionals that he should be resting.

The actor - who is reprising his role as Han Solo in the forthcoming seventh instalment of the epic sci-fi saga - was injured on the set of the film at Pinewood Studios, when he was crushed by a hydraulic door."

If that's from The Sun, to say it's dubious would be far too generous.

I want an Indiana Jones reboot with Robert Pattinson as Indy and Tom Cruise as his father.

I've gotta hand it to The Sun for some masterful trolling of SW fans today.

Let's play Capitain Obvious here. Tom Cruise plays Han's leg and after the accident, Simon's the peg;)

Someone needs to change the title of this thread. I know JJ Abrams is directing VII. I'm not Guy Pearce from Memento.

Sigh. That was a great video but it made me sad because Ep. VII is still over a year away. It really can't get here soon enough.

A video worth watching. Although I really like Kevin Smith, I find him pretty genuine, it does feel like he's being more "fanboyish" than pragmatic.

I also find it odd that he is wishy washy when it comes to the prequels. He states that he likes them, but then later says they are not for him. Yet EP7 is for his generation. Even though EP7 will have an almost entirely new/young cast.
