LA, CA **LAFF June Event: Sagebrush Cantina!**

Thank you JF, thank you. I also know the pain of one not being near you. Heh, technically the closest now is a good 7500 miles.
But yeah, from my house....its a 20-30 minute drive to get to one.... one about 15 miles out, one about 20. This from originally having one just down the street all of 2 minutes from me.

I'll tell you what. I'll overfry up some grease and let it go stale for a couple of days and bring it for JF, LB & SJ to put on their food --- and then we can go someplace better for lunch without them missing out.

 

There is actually a Shakey's in Glendale, and also one in North Hollywood -- both doable from Pickwick (NoHo would probably be a bit closer).

This thread is Hasketted so I'll just continue with the new topic. Is Shakey's the place we went to before bowling out in Northridge? I'll eat pizza of any kind. I've only been to two Shakey's and I couldn't tell that it was bad VK2, but I really don't have a great memory.

Actually, I do kind of like their . But, it's so darn greeezzzyy (where's our vomitting face?)I get acid reflux all night. And the last time we were there service was so bad I ended up never paying for my soda, because I just couldn't get a hold of any waiter, waitress OR cashier or manager.

 

I know... let's just forget about pizza places and go to Del Taco!!
