ST Lucas wanted closure, Disney wants $$$

I bet Lucas ideas were giving even more closure to the big three than ep6 gave us, but Disney wants passing of the torch scenes and open up the universe, so they can continue milking Star Wars

There's already plenty of threads discussing various directions. Your question itself though is flawed. What Lucas "wanted" was what he chose to do - he wanted to sell the rights to make new Star Wars to Disney. Which he did.

I don't get it, we have a new Star Wars trilogy and some stand alone movies on the way and yet some people only focus on the negative. WTF !!!!

If your not happy with new movies being made then don't pay any attention, it's simple.

 

How dare Disney spend $4 billion dollars on a property then not immediately close it up! Star Wars belongs in a museum!

 

Is the aim of this thread to protect a multi-multi billionaire relaxing on a giant retirement fund from a multimedia giant by hurting said multimedia giant's feelings?
