    So apparently I got a pic of the MILLENNIUM FALCON from the Pinewood set. It looks & feels like a fugazi though.

    Wouldn't they just build the interior or do they need the whole outside detailed and finished for other shots? I don't see a greenscreen anywhere and it looks like a tight space. I call fake.

    It is hard for me to buy that in the 30 or so years since the events at the Battle of Endor (losing the radar dish and all) that there have been absolutely no visible modifications, different radar, paint etc...

    Maybe the white screens are up to keep the Falcon undercover or something until filming begins. Didn't do I very job of it though if that picture is real. I don't know it seems kinda fake but I'm far from an expert on movie sets so who knows.

    At first glance, it looks fake. The perspective is really wonky and it doesn't look like it 'belongs' in the same plane as the rest of the background.

    Well, of course it's fake, but the fact that there are no greenscreens have nothing to do with it. There are still weeks/months until they start production, so there would be no need for greenscreens yet.

    But it's really a terrible photoshop job!

    Yep. I've had a big version of this photo (which I labeled "Millennium Falcon in dry dock on Corellia" for fun) for some time, too. I resized it to fit here, but the original file says it was created October 4, 2012, so it's been around.

    Oh yeah, I've seen that before too. It was part of a series of SW themed photos that some guy "took" around existing cities. It appeared originally in some magazine and on their website... trying to remember which one.

    Well played Trebor. I knew this wasn't the falcon for E7. There's no way the E7 falcon would have a crusty analog satellite dish on top, the GFFA would definitely be WIFI by then
