In particular with rumors assassinations on prominent Republic Senators, Padme among them. And rumours of bombings of the Coruscant Power Plants. There has been increased security and suspicions since then.

Count Dooku: We have had leaks my dear. It appears that there have been spies also sabotaging our efforts. Spies whom may have connections to Senator Amidala.

Mina Bonteri: And the fact that someone tried to assassinate Padme?

Count Dooku: Meddling senators are a threat to our plans. I’m sorry my dear but it seems your friend Senator Amidala is foremost among them against our efforts. The question is why and what was she doing here with those secret dealings you have had with her. You know I am aware of your secret liasons; if you want to ensure no harm comes to Senator Amidala, I suggest you do not question my motives and understand the benefits of my plans... for everyone's sake here in this war.

Mina Bonteri: No my lord. The real question I want to ask is whether you and the rest of the Council will honour your commitment on the Peace Negotiations instead of using it as an excuse to create further havoc and mayhem in the Republic.

It is in the midst of the Battle of Jabriim where the Jedi and Clone forces struggle against waves of withering fire and increasing Jabriim Nationalist Militia Forces. At one point – at Cobalt Station and Captain Rex sends a Clone officer to request for aid from Commander Cody’s Corps whom are in reserve. The weary and battle-hardened Clone officer reaches the Republic Camp.

Commander Cody greets the Clone officer: What’s your status trooper?

Clone officer: Clone Captain 212019 Sir. Commander Sir! Captain Rex ordered me to charge out of the siege and from the station; we have suffered several severe counter-attacks by them damned enemy droids and terrorist Sir! Our position has been severely under siege for the past 2 standard months now Sir! We have nearly run out of provisions now! We have consumed all available rations and emergency rations and we’ve got no more charges left! If we don’t get any relieve sooner Commander Sir, I’m afraid we will soon resort to living off our own brothers Sir!

Commander Cody (places his arm on the Clone Officer’s shoulder in an attempt to relieve him): Brother – let me tell you the truth. I have already wanted to enter battle for well over 2 standard months now! But without approval from Master Yoda or the Jedi High Command – I cannot march forth! I am sorry Brother – but (tearfully) … orders are orders!

Clone officer (anguished): Commander Cody! Commander! Can you bear to see all our Brothers perish in vain? Can you bear to see all our Brothers perish in a sea of corpses!? Can you bear to see our Brother’s skulls … used as trophies by the damned terrorists? Do you wish to see a complete bloodbath happen to our toughest Brothers? Can you bear to see Shelter Base happen to Cobalt Station!? Sir?!

Commander Cody (anguished as well): Medic! Take this man to the aid station!

Clone officer (anguished): COMMANDER?! SIR?!

Commander Cody: I’ve been a Clone Officer for about 2 Standard Years Now … and a Clone for more than 10 Standard Years Now! And how many Worlds and Systems have I been now to? More than 30? And yet now... I have never been more ashamed and anguished ever than before!!!

Commander Cody (at attention and salutes): General Sir! General Yoda Sir! Sir! You have arrived Sir!

eases Commander Cody: Anguished … and Worried You were hmmm Commander?

Commander Cody: Sir! General Yoda Sir! I was at my wit’s end Sir! I was about to personally break out and relieve my Brothers Sir! Yet for 2 Standard Months General Yoda – you ordered me to guard the camp and wait! Several times I’ve tried to relieve our Brothers and yet you always told me to wait Sir! And yet always I get reprimanded Sir! Is this now the same again Master Yoda Sir?

again directs Commander Cody to walk with him: Because The Right Time To Fight Now it is … Commander….(takes out a holodata inscription message) for an ingenious plan Master Kenobi and Skywalker developed! Attacking the rebels from stealth they propose! Yet by date of this message I calculate … about to engage the enemy forces they are soon! Then … relieve station we are! Evacuate the survivors we shall!(chuckles) Now … then … to battle shall we? Hmmm? Commander.

Commander Cody: Sir! (at attention).

Hmmm … Your camp in your command I place you … and 20 Commandos … and 1000 Clones of mine and all dropships and available ships in your command now Commander! (slightly more sternly but with a smile) – to victory and save your Brothers you shall! Lose you must not! The Force May Be With You! No Try Is There Commander … DO You MUST DO …

Commander Cody: YES SIR! (proceeds to leave).
