I have a full size working X-wing....ok I can't back that up but everyone was braggin and I don't have anything that cool from star wars.

I have a diecast vader figure with David's Sig on it. but that's about it.

I dunno though, I think I would like to have the Forward cargo hold from the Millennuum Falcon, complete with the Engineering station, holograph table, bench seating and overhead bunk...That would be sweet...that would be my home theater...speaking of home theaters, anyone seen this before?

Hey, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, but my pain has sorta sucked lately and the JC was persnickety yesterday.

When I was in line for TPM at the Coronet Theater in San Francisco, some former ILM employees came by to visit us. They brought the exhaust port from the Trench Scene. They also had a large plastic bag with them. They had used a band saw and cut up a section of the trench from the long model used for filming. Each of us got to reach in and grab a piece. I actually got a pretty small piece so it is hard to identify. My ex-fiance got a larger piece that was clearly from near the exhaust port.

In the move back to NorCal, I couldn't participate so I don't know if she left her piece behind, or even if mine made it up here safely. I hope so.

 

Wow thats pretty sweet man, I can't beleive that ILM would be so kind in that sort of a manner. That is just amazing!

 

Well, like I keep trying to tell everyone camping out for the movies is a pretty amazing experience. ILM and LFL people visited our line often. Giving us gifts all the time. Mostly one sheets, even some from the OT.

Oh yeah, and we got to see TPM with LFL at their screening on the Sunday before the official opening. Nothing like getting a standing ovation from the people how made the films.
