For a cheesesteak, I'll suffer with some of the whiz. Oh yeah.

As long as there's cheese I'm happy, LOL. Though I have to say, I wouldn't want Mozzarella on my cheesesteak. Too stringy.

 

See Mozzarella & sauce on a steak is a Pizza Steak, and they are very good actually.


Ok my shopping list for my Cheesesteak Education class:


-Steak (what did you think I was going to say Steak-Ums!?!)
-Hoagie Rolls
-CHEESE WHIZ


Ok when I come down for the Ren Farie, I say let's have a Cheesesteak party!!

My brain went in several different directions and then stopped altogether

We might be able to make it for cheesesteaks, though I may have to bring my own provolone....

I'll chat with hubby and see what he thinks and of course, see if we have any other plans.

 

Ok Minx you bring the provolone, I got the Whiz & rolls and someone else needs to grab some sliced cheddar.


And I don't want to drag uncooked steak in a car for over 3 hours so some people need to get on that as well.

Have any of you guys had a Cheesesteak from Toney's Pizza in Manassas? They are what I would consider the ideal Cheesesteak, though this may be construed as heracy by our Philly resident, It's a New York joint (Whiz not included!)

 

Is it called Tony's New York Pizza? If it is, I think there's also one in Fairfax.

 

Yeah, it is. Theres one in the Fair Lakes shopping center, then theres two in Manassas, one on Mathis Ave. and one off Sudly Manor in the Battlefield shopping center. I highly recomend we hold a meeting there one day!
