so it started with a search for Corellian Bloodstripes (so i want to crochet a Star Wars-ish shawl, but i want it to be kinda subtle, so i was looking at the Bloodstripes for coloring and color scheme possibilities), and i found a link to a question on a forum... and this was the forum. and here i am! i'm pretty sure Han and Leia was my first ever 'ship, followed by the Falcon, which may be my second favorite ship (the first one being the TARDIS). i remember when i was a kid, i had the kid picture book versions of the books of the movies of the Holy Trilogy (and i unfortunately can't find them, grr.) i may not have always shown it, but i've been a fan of the series, and showed the movies to my daughters when they were old enough. (when ep iii came out, the older one might have been ready to watch it, but she's a bit empathic, so i didn't think it was a good idea at the time. we watched them all (iv, v, vi, i, ii, iii) probably in about 2009 or 10 maybe, and i still had to pause iii a few times to ask them if they still wanted to watch it, even though we knew how it 'ended.' we finally watched it all. XD) in 2011 (according to goodreads) i started reading the EU, starting with the Holy Trilolgy and going forward in time. i just finished Fate of the Jedi: Apocalypse, and hopefully my library has Crucible waiting for me after work. I've seen the Force Awakens, i call it the disney'verse, and we'll just leave it at that. since i don't see movies on opening weekend, i'm not sure when i'll see R1, but soon, i'm sure. =) so... hihi! hope there's room on this bucket o'bolts for me. =)
Hello! Welcome to the boards! I love your crochet projects, they're awesome. Since you're an expanded universe fan, be sure and visit the EUC.
thanks Lady Belligerent! and thanks! i'm pretty sure that was the thread that i ended up on, over on the EUC. i promise i'll get there and have a read. there's just so much STUFF on this site!
There is a lot to explore, so let us know if we can help out. There is an adoption program where you can get help from another user, and we'd love to show you around.
