I never had any kind of an account with AOL, yet I kept getting emails from AOL wanting me to switch providers. I asked them nicely to stop e-mailing me. They wouldn't and one of them got rude so I told them off in a not so nice way. I then blocked them from bothering me anymore. Most of my friends have YIM or MSN anyway so I really don't need AIM. Up until recently, I didn't have many people wanting to chat with me off the boards anyway.

I figured I would get a laugh out of you.

Welcome back

I was over at my FF board reading the latest posts. Since we are hosting the Regional meeting and some people are going to be flying in, some of the others were asking about transportation for some of the events. Some will not be a problem because they are close enough to take the Metro. Others the metro doesn't go to. One of them said something about renting a van but mentioned how expensive that would be and be a hassel. I told them I may be able to help with that. My mom works at Enterprise Leasing and I get a 50% discount. So I am going to see if they have any large vans and find out how much it is going to cost the group.

 

I hope I can too. I am not sure as of right now but the number that has been mentioned so far is around 100 people. They will be coming from roughly 6-10 states, maybe more. It is still 6 months away so we really won't know until closer to the date. We are doing so many things that it is going to be a three day event. Seeing the Gateway Arch, going in costume to the Children's hospital, a BBQ and a few other things.

I'm sure many of the kids will enjoy seeing us dressed up. As long as no one dresses like Darth Maul or something like that and scares them.

It is about 630 feet (192 meters) tall. You can go in there and ride up to the top and there is an observation area where you can over look St. Louis and see for miles.

From the things we are planning, it will be a really fun time. I will make sure to get a couple pictures just for you of the Budweiser Clydesdales since I know how much you love horses.

 

I'm thinking about going as Darth Sidious since I am one of the oldest members of my FF. OK, it will be a much younger version of him. I just either need to by the robe or make it myself.

Yeah, but the really young children(new born-5 years old) may be frightened by Maul. But one never knows for sure until it happens.

When is the GSFF planning its next big meeting?

 

Yeah we don't want to frighten the next generation of SW fans so bad they will never want to watch it.
