Madison, WI October Cookout !!!

I am planning to have a cookout on Saturday the 20th, starting around Noon and going until around 6:00ish. If we go over, there should be plenty of leftovers for dinner.

I'd appreciate it if everyone who plans to come posts here or PMs me with how many are coming. That will help us figure how much food to make. I'm hoping everyone can show up.

I have plenty of hamburgers, brats and hot dogs for the grill. If anyone wants to bring a side dish or anything else, just let me know what it will be and that will give me an idea of what else I need to get or make.

The address is 460 Cherry Street, Evansville. It is about a half hour drive from Madison. Those who wish to come and don't have a car should work out rides. I could come to Madison to pick up some of you (4 tops) to bring you, but a ride home may be something else, unless the same people want to leave at the same time. Pick-up would be at the South Transfer Point(bus stop) on Park St. near the beltline at around 11:00AM. That is if anyone needs a ride.

Ask questions if I forgot any details for the meeting. If anyone needs directions that google or mapquest can't give, let me know. The place is easy to find. I can PM anyone with specific directions if they need.

I'd really like to go but I usually work till 6 on Saturdays' I'll check my schedule and see if I can get someone to cover for me.

Just to let everyone know, I don't have any video game systems but I do have a few board games. If someone wants to bring games of any type, feel free to.

Board games are just fine! If some one needs a ride, I can take up to three people with me. I can also bring the N64 with some Star Wars games and some others. I'll have to find the extra controllers, that shouldn't be a problem though.

 

I'll pack my Wii and my games. I only have two controller sets though.

 

I can bring my WiiMotes and nun chucks as well.. should have them by the cook out. Actually, I should have them in four days.. *is very excited*

 

I can bring a Wii-mote and something to eat as well I'll have to think of something...maybe soda. Anyway I should also bring apples to apples thats an awesome game. Or Star Wars trivia we've never done that as a group! I hopefully will be able to work 5am -12 pm so that I can make it for the whole thing.

1 scalloped potato dish
and lot of burgers, brats and hot dogs

Is there anything that someone would like to see on the menu that isn't here already?
Don't be shy about asking for something. I'd like to know whatelse to get.

Drinks, by the way, will be ice tea, pink lemonade and whatever others bring.

Let me know what you'd like before Wednesday, because that's when I hit the store.

Also, if the weather is cold and rainy, we have plenty of room inside to talk, eat and play games.
