    re. Marvel Legacy

I still dig me my Old Man Logan comic, although maybe it'll stay as a shortened run. I'm fine with it just being that. Unless they're going to have two Wolverine's running around. Poor Old Man Logan's days looked numbers. Still getting an awesome Old Man Logan / Mastero brawl, though!

In regards to the aforementioned Legacy spoiler

I hope that X-23 doesn't loose her solo title because of it.

I have to say I liked Legacy. The original Wolverine is alive and free. Gee, what a surprise.

Infamous Iron Man 12 holds a great 4th wall breaking monologue by Mephisto that is one of the all time greats. Apparently the powers in the universe are not pleased with Doom's time as a god.

I wouldn't be stunned if they purposely waited until Fox killed off Logan in the movies. Marvel comics wanted to do it "first" (same with his crappy origin), so no surprises. No one stays dead in the MCU, I just wish they'd stop pulling the stunt shocks though (like Hydra Cap etc. - sorry Nick Spencer, you're not anywhere near Ed Brubaker's league.) Ahem...

At least, Ribic's art is nice. :)

If Batman is allowed to marry Catwoman, then can I have my Lois and Clark marriage back in the DC universe now?

    This week:

Iron Fist 73, IF vs Sabertooth, sorta. basically it's just hard to get Sabertooth to do anything.
Old Man Logan 29, this was brains over brawn but it's not over yet.
    X-Men Gold 13
    Astonishing X-Men 4
Robotech 3, it's fun reliving this.
Black Bolt 6, I hear The Inhumans tv show sucks. This comic doesn't.

What's funny is some people are shocked to see a Superman comic with course language, but forget about TDKR which featured similar language.

    No, it's....

Is that really Rorschach back from the dead, or just somebody new under the mask?

It's not the language that got me (I've heard far worse watching WWE), but it's just shocking and a little bit chilling how things seem to be similar to events in the real world at the moment, only on a much worse scale.

Johns has indicated that it is him.

Johns did say that he was inspired by the last election and if you recall, Moore was inspired by the political climate of the 80's. Also, take note of the date. November 22nd, 1992. What occurred on that date?

The fact that Doomsday Clock being released on the 25th anniversary of that event is also telling

Well, I'm still not entirely enamoured of the notion of Doomsday Clock I do think it's cool that

If they're doing a "sequel" to the events, then it turns out Rorsarch's Journal did spoil Veidt's great ruse! Wow, people actually listened to what the New Frontiersmen published?! Anyway, yay Rorsarch!

Considering how much garbage people are willing to listen to today, and how this new comic seems inspired by contemporary events, that's probably appropriate.

By the way, the ending to the Watchmen movie seemed pretty implausibly hopeful and optimistic (don't remember if the comic had this). That guy was all going on about world peace and holding hands with the Russians and "hippie communes" and whatnot. But considering what had happened, shouldn't the mood be one of absolute terror of what Dr. Manhattan (or invading squid-creatures) might do next?

The comic did have the hopeful tone with the ending. Dan and Laurie visit Sally as in the film, but where it differs is that the two of them are getting ready to start their lives over under a new identity, but also discuss resuming activities as Nite Owl and Silk Spectre.

I didn't mind Before Watchmen ( some of it was good and it was always worth exploring their backstories ) but I don't like the idea of a crossover .
