Just thought I'd up this so that everyone here making all their "official" threads can see how much effort they should expend before slapping the word "Official" on anything (with the exception of starting official discussion threads about a trailer or something IMPORTANT - without those, this place would be in complete shambles).


As far as updating this, I think I might put out a Version 12.0 either around Thanksgiving or Christmas. With school work really piling up, I have no time to do ALL the updating that's needed until a break comes up.

But until then, it's still damn good enough.

Is updating this really worth my effort if Ternian and I are the only one's interested in it? We don't need this - we already know it.

If you do use this as a reference and would like to see it updated, please post as much. If this is just gonna drop straight to page 10 every time it's upped, it's not gonna do us much good.

 

personally, i'd like to see someone keep updating this thread. if school work and whatnot are piling up, someone else (not me) should take the reigns.

this thread most likely will keep slipping down to page ten or lower, though. i'd be more than happy to bookmark it and paste a link into future newbies' threads whenever redundancy pops up but i think that's a losing battle.

a different solution would be for someone to host this as a web page, but again, people will just start up a new thread when the info they're looking for isn't on page one.

I'm going to try and update this thread over Christmas break. It needs a lot of work, and I don't have the time these days with finals coming up. I have a month off starting December 18 where I won't have much to do. I'll work on it then.
