Full Series Official Star Wars Rebels Discussion Thread (Spoilers Allowed)

Well it is a kid's show, and will most likely be on Disney Channel. I am fine with it, and want some action like that, but I doubt it will happen.

 

I don't think you can put much stock in any of the rumors you are hearing at this point. Especially so if it came from here where everyone likes to take any tiny bit of information they hear and blow it out of proportion a hundred times over

 

Yes... rumors and scoops that people PM to you should probably be taken with large grains of salt.

 

Just like Darth Valkyrus heard about it off of here. The guy he heard it from probably got it from some message board. And the guy before that likely got it from some message board as well...so on and so on. If we were ever able to go back and discover the source of many of these rumors I would bet 9 times out of 10 the source is something like a female of a certain age was supposedly auditioning for a role on Star Wars and someone sees that and says....oh it must be Mara Jade.

 

That was an awesome fight. And the Jedi were actually Jedi masters.

 

Does anybody else think it's possible that Vader and Palpatine let Starkilller beat them?

It's better to take TFU for what it is, just a video game. Hell, I actually like some parts of it. Vader's manipulation pf Starkiller was pretty genius.

 

So that they could surprise him by attacking when they seam to be defeated.

 

That sounds like an ... unnecessarily risky tactic.

Nope. For much the same reason that I don't think "Sidious let Mace beat him" in RoTS - it would present too great a risk of going wrong, resulting in one's own deth.

 

Well the mace windu thing is a little different, I think Sidious knew anakin would show up and letting himself be seen defeated and helpless convinced anakin that the jedi were plotting and trying to take over.

 

Given TCW's propensity for changing aspects of an EU character's personality (hello, Quinlan Vos!), I wonder if they decide to make Thrawn a notorious rapper.

I foresee Thrawn teaming up with Ahsoka. With Tano teaching the Grand Abmiral everything she knows. The series then becomes a show about the power duo (more like power SUEO or sumtin! Tssss) conquering the entire galaxy.

 

Wait for the ThrawnSoka ships to start setting sail.

Nah, Ahsoka just has a professional relationship with Thrawn. She'll have a harem of slaves to fulfill her needs. Barriss especially will be pardoned in order to be Tano's main slave.

 

I thought Sidious won in the light and dark side endings. Although Vader lost both versions.

 

I was moseying around the Star Wars website when I noticed something new at StarWars.com/watch. As you probably know, there are the different categories of videos that you can select and page through. They just added a new category called "Star Wars Rebels" to the list, but the link doesn't work (yet). I think this means we are getting close to an official first season trailer or a new series of behind-the-scenes videos if they are already putting the category in the watch list. Speculation, of course, but what do you think?

 

Hmm... yeah. Seems to just lead back to the same place at present.

 

The Stormtrooper encyclopedia entry still says, "clone troopers evolved".
