*OFFICIAL THREAD* What If... DISCUSSION Thread

We've decided to keep a minimum of "What if" type threads in PT. The movies are set and what happened, happened. Nothing we do now can change that. We'd rather keep the majority of threads discussing the actual PT.

So if you have a "what if..." question that deals with things that didn't happen in the PT, but could have... please ask it here!

Anyways, What if Episode 2 was where Anakin became Vader?

 

Episdoe III would have been similar to Dark Lord

What if Jar Jar died in the battle of Naboo

 

He would be considered a hero and people wouldn't hate him as much.

 

Palps wouldn't of gotten his emergancy powers eithier.

What if Padme didn't use confusing decoys?

 

She'd be dead.


What if Yoda had lost to Dooku in AotC?

What if Qui-Gon didn't find Anakin?

If he is the Chosen One, he would have had to brought balance and destroy the Sith, but in what way?

 

He would have been found by Sidious probably and been trained as a Sith his whole life.

What if Anakin didn't fly off into a rage and kill the Tuskins?

It may have delayed his fall because he would not have already tapped into the dark side. His mother may have had a role in preventing his fall down the road as well.

What if Dooku had killed Obi-Wan in their duel on Geonosis? Or, for that matter, on the Invisible Hand?
I always think about this, especially in the beginning of ROTS. What would've happened to the rest of the saga?

Then Anakin would have been screwed depending on when it happened though. If it happened in AOTC well Yoda would have come at one point to help him. But if he dead in ROTS right away well Anakin would have had a real problem getting out of there with Palpatine.

 

What if Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan never became separated when they faced the Sith apprentice?

 

I think they had a chance to defeat him [without anything happening to Qui-Gon]. Qui-Gon held his own against Darth Maul but in the end Maul eventually killed him with a quick series of slashes and a bash move. In my mind he would not have had time to carry out this sequence of moves if Obi-Wan had been on his other side. Therefore Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon together would stand a very good chance of defeating Maul.
