Yup.

In my experience, more often than not, the chat window on any livestreaming service (twitch, ustream, etc) just ends up being a distraction to what you're there for in the first place, and is pretty much useless at fostering or maintaining any discussion, anyway.

Basically, livestream chats are just a bunch of idiots spamming icons and 5 word sentences that fly by at the rate of 500 messages a second, 40-50% of which are racist/sexist/homophobic anyway.

Better to simply post to the boards after everything's all done, honestly.

 

That's assuming we don't have a repeat of when the teaser trailer was released and the boards break.

 

They're gonna break.

 

"Break the boards, the live streams will."

 

Right, and that's what we're discussing... how to deal with that and still be able to ban accounts, delete crap, etc. as soon as possible.
