The Vader/Anakin thing drives me crazy trying to explain to my friends. They go, "Is Darth Vader in Episode II?" If I tell them, "Yes and no," they just stare blankly or go, "Huh?" If I say yes, that's not the complete truth. If I say no, that isn't the complete truth either. And if I say, "From a certain point of view," I get more blank stares.

D@mn right! And that blundering id!ot is a senator now?? No wonder so many systems want to leave the Republic.

 

He can actually speak coherently in AOTC (according to DD's script), but he sounds weird when he speaks in normal Basic.
