No wonder the cat stared. The poor thing probably had a complex.

That is the least feline name in existence. A cat should have a name that is sleek and deadly, reflecting its predatory nature.

In my defence, I was about 7 when I named mine.

The only animals we've got left are Mittens, Mac - which is a very original name for a West Highland White terrier, and Nicky the horse.

I'm thinking of getting a pet rat or something while I'm up here in Swansea.


Anyway, I'd like the usual in celebration of the 200th post on this thread

We just have small problems with Aberdeen Angus cattle instead...

 

Surely you have seen it on TV, it was the highest flood in east germany since the start of registration of such floods. Normal water height: 1,50 m. There it was 10,50m.

Well,Ariadne,I think the "la-la" name was bestowed upon the unfortunate feline by one of the younger female members of the neighbour's household .... this is quite understandable,but I'm glad I moved away from there !

This year, we have a coathanger stuck in the TV in lieu of an arial, so TV's not an option now, either.

I've never lived in a flooded area, can't image what it must be like.

I'm putting off my coursework, because I'm now in a state of unholy terror over it. A good 40% of the source material I have to use is in German, and I'm beginning to wish I'd paid more attention to the people that said taking a foreign language was a good idea.

Apart from that, I'm good. I'm looking forward to playing with the Egyptian artefacts in the uni's museum tomorrow

 

Nice. I've always had a passing interest in Egyptian mythology, myself. Interesting culture.

Hahaha, everyone who's not a native born german, will have problem with that language .
