    Beckett pitched one hell of a game tonight. The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, of Southern California, of the United States is going to have to make some changes in their line-up to produce runs, because the way it is now won't cut it.

    Good because I'd rather not see the Yanks play the Angels. :p It's weird as hell routing for Boston I'll tell you that. 8-}

    Well, if the Yanks keep playing like that against Cleveland, the Angels should be the least of your concerns. :D

    I caught the last three innings of last night's game. Looks like the Red Sox are playing quite well. Nice to see. I hope they make the series!

    Schilling is the *man*, I've said it since '04 :D

    Great game tonight... and back to Boston for the American League Championship. It would be nice to see the Yanks swept out tonight, but frankly I'd be even happier about our prospects to see them win one tonight and lose the next game. :p Tire the Indians out for us and show 'em they're not invincible...

    I hope to god the Indians win the Division series. I don't want to see another Red Sox / Yankees championship series just yet.

    It gets kind of old, I'd love to see a Boston-Cleveland matchup for the ALCS. With the Indians winning, of course. :)

    Hmmm... I don't like seeing the Red Sox getting beat consistently by the Indians.

    Great game last night. I watched most of it. I was scared Terry Francona would have been kicked out in the third with Manny's "Home run"

    I'll post my rant on that from the MLB thread:

    I was appalled, but not entirely surprised, at Manny Ramirez's cocky and completely unprofessional behavior that kept his huge hit a single. I don't give a **** how awesome you think you are and how much you think you crushed the ball. You ****ing run like a mother until the ball has left the park, THEN you can walk or whatever. But to do his patented walk out of the box towards first base and his lazy trot to first, only to realize that he HADN'T hit the ball out, was pathetic. He should have been at second base PERIOD. Horrible cocky behavior from Manny, but what sets me off here is that this behavior impacted the game and the team. They were up by ONE RUN when he did that ****. If I were in charge of the Sox, he'd be reprimanded for behavior like that. It's unprofessional and unsportsmanlike.

    Yeah, but manny's such a badass hitter i don't freakin care if stares and admires it. I know that he didn't actually hit it out that time, but come on! the sox won the game, and with beckett pitching like that, i didn't really matter. idk i think it's dumb to single manny out like that, if arod did it nobody give two ****s.

    Who said I was singling out Manny? I wouldn't like it if A-Rod did it either. I like Manny I just don't like that particular thing he did.

    Yeah, but the Yankees suck. The Indians had a good team this year.

    The Yankees didn't suck in 04. It was more televised because it was such a huge comeback for the Sox.

    As for Cleveland I was worried, I thought they would have gotten the pennant for sure after the Sox started to slump.

    I can definatly see the Sox winning the World Series but this incredibly cold weather Denver is having could have one worried
