Possible new JC look

Once again I agree with the masses.
Colors are excellent, but fix the names
And I really like the light blue for new PMs etc.

Everything looks great, but I do agree that the usernames should be made black so they aren't confused with mods.

Why don't you highlight the names in silver (or whatever color it is) so that the color doesn't show up next to the posts, but is still visible on the top of the page? (It might just be me, but I really don't think the black is visible when it's directly on the blue.)

I almost had a heart attack when I saw solojones with colors, as the top post on this page.

The regular user color could stay the gold color it is now, just have a transparent background. I did a quick test of the gold on gray, and it wasn't too hard to read.

That way, it doesn't look like everyone has colors. Sure, the regular names would be a different color, but it would be a lot easier to get used to that than getting used to everyone having a background color as well.

I like it. Much better than the peach-and-blue combo.

 

I actually like the names. It makes me feel important. And I don't get confused with mods because not everybody has Moderator or Manager next to their name. That is how I usually classify a mod. Also, I think that the colors are the coolest thing in the world! They are much better than the red of the others. I think this is like a utopian color scheme. Or something like that.

 

I love it, but I don't like the background on the names.

This is tons better than the previous try. And the highlighted names shouldn't be a problem.

 

I like these colors but change the highlight for the names and I'll love it.

I like Balance_Point's idea with the silver highlight! I think this could be a very cool new look for the JC though! Is there a good chance that this (perhaps with the names changed) will be the new colour scheme soon? I hope so!

Much, much better! This doesn't make my eyes feel like they're going to melt out of my head, and it fits with the banner a lot better. I like how I can see my login name at the top with this color scheme.

The only thing I don't like is the highlight behind the member names. I like the names being bold black, but that may be because that is what I'm used to.

 

Ah! Beautiful new look! Keep this!

 

Take away the highlighting from the names, maybe have the names in the black we have now, and I think you'd have a winning scheme.
