Quake IV

Alright for those of you who haven't seen the new issue of PC Gamer go out now and look at it. For those of us that have read the new pc gamer what are your thoughts on Quake IV. Some people have been dissapointed with doom 3 because it left its run and gun gameplay to have a more spooky feel, I believe this is the action game that everyones been waiting for what do you think?

 

I've lost interest in the mindless blaster. It's a case of 'whoever has the best weapon wins'. With Half Life 2 and Battlefield 2 on the way, there will be a lot of competition in the online market place.

Personally I'd rather see the engine technology work for a new version of CoD or JK than a Quake game.

 

It's being made by Raven Software and continuing the storyline of Quake II. It could be good.

 

I tremble at what the System Requirments for Quake 4 are going to be, since theyare going to be even higher then for Doom 3.
