R.I.P. Lobot. Even though he didn't have any lines he really made an impression as Lando's aide with that weird head device(which must have been a bitch to wear). I like when he looks sideways at Lando after Vader leaves the Carbon Freezing chamber at the end of the scene and how his eyes opened up when Lando pressed the buttons his wrist control.

This is very sad news. I met him at a convention once, I went to him for an autograph which cost me £5 I think, I paid with a £10 note and he gave me the change for a £20 note (£15 instead of £5). I noticed this and gave him it back, to which he was very grateful! To me it just seemed the obvious thing to do but he was very kind and appreciative and posed for a great photo with me.
Anyway RIP to a man who seemed to me a very kind, gentle person.

It's odd to think that even with his brief moments of screen time in ESB, his image is so familiar to me that I feel like a member of the extended 'family' has passed away.:(

These days, when I hear of someone passing away, I wonder what kind of a life they had.

I hope that Mr. Hollis lived a rich and happy one, filled with lots of happy memories, possibly including his participation in the Star Wars films. I'd like to think that was an accomplishment he was proud of.

    May he rest in peace.

That eye-shifting look he gives Lando is a classic ESB moment. R.I.P.

I was also thinking that my headphones which attach around the back of my head were inspired by Lobot's.

Let us also remember Micheal Sheard. So in a way that is true. We lost one ANH, two from ESB. Never got to meet either of them. I have met Prowse, Park, and Motti(I forget his name).

And I am especially saddened by Hollis, and William Hootkins. Two actors who were in some of my favorite movies of all time. Hootkins was in Star Wars, Flash Gordon(Munson), and Batman(Eckard). Hollis was also in Flash Gordon(Klytus observer #2).
    THEY WILL BE MISSED!!!

as all before have said... R.I.P. He really did leave a huge impact for such a "small" role. As a collector of SW 12" figures I have wanted a 12" Lobot forever... and I don't even have a Lando anymore, but I still want a Lobot.
