Pittsburgh, PA RE: ROAD TRIP: IMAX ATOC

Ummmm, what was that bit about leaving Friday??? I kinda have to go to work on Friday. Couldn't we leave really really really early Saturday morning?

 

We most likely will be leaving Saturday morning

 

I plan on leaving friday after work so I can get a good nights sleep.

 

what is the verdict? rochester? Will everyone need accomadations?

I am probaly not going to be able to make it now for the IMAX AOTC Road Trip.

One of my fellow Engineers at work is going on vacation and my schedule got changed to cover for his absence. I will be working 11pm-7am that week instead of 7am - 3pm. I won't finish up until 7am that Saturday of the trip. I was really looking forward to going and hanging out with all you guy's.

Woo Hoo! Just got back from Vegas today (I'll post seperately about the trip) and was thrilled to see that the Omnimax/Science Center contacted me directly about group info for AOTC!!!!!!

How cool is that!!!?!?!? They had some questions and stuff that I just sent back some answers. I'm thrilled! What a surprise!!!!! Oh this is great! Saves some serious traveling. See everyone there!

Why is it that everytime we think something isn't going to happen, the "powers that be" pull through and make things all come together? This is freakin great.
Now, is someone going to get all the tickets, or are we going to buy them that night, etc. Also, do we know if any other Fan Forces that aren't getting it thinking of coming here, if we're closer? Also, as Fluke asked, would the Science Center be interested in us doing something for the opening night? I mean, granted, I'm sure alot of people will be dressing up, but it'd be nice to be official. Who knows, might get our name out a little bit too

yes! it's here! thank God! I was planing to visit my cousins if it wasn't here they aren't the biggest SW fans, but like AOTC...I'm dressing my neighbor up as a jedi...she's the only one of my friends willing to go with me!! it kinda sux tho...I don't get out of school untill four...so i woun't be able to go home first if I wanna make it to my friends party...

 

WOO-HOO!! *does happy dance of joy* I wonder how many days they will be showing it... What time are they showing it opening night? I SOOOOO would love to get there (in costume, of course! ), and I work until 4pm that day.

 

Most excellent! The road trip would have been cool, but it will be much nicer having it here in the 'Burgh. You can guarantee I'll be there! And try to gather up some of the other Imps out there from my garrison to come down to the 'Burgh too!

 

I will be there for the first show. I can't wait!

 

Should we invite other fan forces to the event? I told Central PA to come becasue they were considering going to NY to see it. I don't think it's playing in Ohio so maybe those fan forces will come too.
