I editted that part into my last post. Although to go a bit more in depth, both sides made mistakes during last war, but the Confederation is something that only Allston remembered, and that only occasionally. Yet the Jedi get all the blame. Not like we ever heard about GAG trials or punishment or even being disbanded. Another source mentions they were disbanded, but not the novels.

The background GA stuff in Crucible just made it all worse too. Really, from the NJO onward the basic plot has been to make the Jedi suffer, occasionally while ripping off from the prequels. Also while escalating things, since the Killik backstory ramps up Luke's boss fight with Abeloth.
