I'm not fat (at all) but the few times I have been were because of:
Surgery leading to lack of exercise
Giving up smoking and taking up comfort eating (don't worry, I switched back)
Lager and Cava
Er, I think that's it.

seriously. im at this dementia ward through school and there's so much sugar all day long. like, there's the cookies between breakfast and lunch, "afternoon coffee" with whatever pastry is today, then there's dessert after dinner. and of course there are special occasions, for some reasons there are special occasions every week, meaning we need CAKE. and of course you're expected to eat of it, cus these patients are ****ing 100 year old housewives being actually CONCERNED with why you're not having anything with them.

im so glad i only have 4 more shifts left. ive eaten so much **** these last two months.

 

oh and on fridays there's not even lunch. just waffles for lunch. just waffles, between morning cookies and afternoon pastries.

i swear. one day, they were making an apple cake. and they couldnt wait the hour it took for it to get done, so they had leftover chocolate cake while waiting for the apple cake in the oven. ****ing dementia.

 

No baked goods involved; just saturated fats.

Free birthday cake in kitchenette area at work. I don't know who Sarah is, but I'm happy she was born, but she's the reason I'm fat. Yes, it's her fault, not my low will power.
