ST Return to Coruscant?

When will we see Coruscant again? I sense that it won't be in Rogue One.

But, in Episode 8 or what's the next likely possibility?

I would be open to it, but what do you think the reason for returning there would be?

 

I don't think that will happen anytime soon.. Coruscant is not the capital of the New Republic. Hosnian Prime was the capital in TFA and was destroyed. The next planet in the already planned rotation of capitals should take its place in Ep. VIII and even if Coruscant was in the list, chances would be against it, since it's only one in who knows how many. Other reasons might exist to go back, though, like visiting the old Jedi Temple. Maybe there's a better chance of a return to Coruscant in "Rebels".

 

I'd like to hear why Coruscant is no longer the hub of the Republic. Perhaps because when the Republic was being rebuilt, Courscant was still occupied by the Empire until much later?
