Tucson RPG planning

I honestly do not know for sure if we are meeting tonight to work on Character Generation. If we are it will be at 7pm, so if you want to drop by and hang out in case, or just to chat, feel free to come to the house this evening.

 

Okay, RPG will not meet this evening, but we will meet next friday night, which will be the 8th of September, hope to see you there.

 

Its a good thing that there was no meeting tonight, cuz I couldn't have come. I am pretty much house-ridden for the weekend in "recovery" from my surgery yesterday. got my tonsels removed. no biggie, but i'm so drugged I am surprised that I can even type this...

 

Do you want any of us to come over and visit, or bring you some magazines or books or anything.. food??? if you do.. just say the word and we will!! Take care and enjoy all the jello, ice cream and pudding you can manage! Take Care

 

Thanks for the offer, but I'm doing fine. I'll be back to normal around monday. I can probably survive that long. I bought 4 books at Bookmans on the meeting day, so I'm covered

I'm glad you had fun JediObiKat. I'm looking foreward to friday the 22nd of Sept. I'm sure this coming time around we'll be doing some RPG! I have noticed a slightly scary tendency from our gamer's PC's Characteristics. Everybody wants to be a Force user. Now normally I don't have a problem with that but this can upset the balance of the game. So please remember that when generating a PC there is give and take in the Universe. Force Adepts know very little about the great Galaxy and the ways of Galactic Society. (Normally) As a result of that those PCs who are loaded with Force points don't have much else in the way of SPs for cross class skills. I've made some quick fixes here and there but I can't apply those same fixes with everybody. So please let's keep it in perspective so as not to have things fly off the handle. Ok? Thank you.

I would encourage our players to consider skills that can be of use in a sophisticated universe. Technical, analytical, professional, etc. I've ruled that there are not going to be Jedi in the group for a reasion. It's because it's too easy and tempting at times to play that kind of PC. At any rate, the balance issue has already been covered so I'll get to the list. Star pilots are needed. Engineering specialists are needed. Soldiers are definately needed! A noble is definately going to be needed! Also a scout too. Nuff said, thanks.

Mmkay... I havent been on the boards for a while (school).

But anyways, Bookmans didnt have the Revised Core Rulebook, it only had the old Core Rulebook, so I didn't get it. So I still need to finish my new character. But it's not a Force-user! so that should make you happy, Vangarian. But yeah it still needs to be finished.

 

which bookman's did you check out...

 

I actually didn't check the Bookmans on Grant + Campbell, only because the Speedway one actually has an RPG section. So I assumed thats where it would be.

 

I will run by the other store and see if it was there.. I suppose someone could have already picked it up.. wish we knew who it was if they did..

 

I stopped by there last weekend (Grant & Campbel store) I think. I remember seeing a copy a week or two before then of said reivised core rule book. I didn't see it on my last visit though. Sigh. Any body out there have enough of an interest in helping _Anakin_Vader get his PC up and Runing? Come on TFF. What do you say are there any other members who are willing to lend a helping hand? Please?

My better half true to his word.. MJDS purchased me a copy of the revised core rulebook and Mike got his character squared away!! Can't wait!!

 

Thank you MasterJediDragonSir for helping out the cause! Bravo sir, Bravo! I look foreward to this Friday evening's Gaming session. Now I can settle down to some serious scenario assembly.

 

Well, I'm happy to say that our 1st gaming session has finally launched with the help of MasterJediDragonSir's timely help, with the house's Expanded Core Rules Book. We have now started our new campaign! Yesss. The beginning of the adventure takes place just before the arrival of the Galactic Aliance's Fleet arrives to inspire the Corelians to stand down from Center Point Station and surrender it. Yeah right! Our hereos have been hired to seek any and all information concerning an ancient artifact, hidden away somewhere in the southern hemisphere of Yavin4 in a Massassi built Temple that turns out to be different from your run of the mill Massassi Temple. Not only wasn't it crushed by any Yuzhan Vong prefabs that were dropped on the other Temples, but it is distinctly set apart from the other Temples. But that is for the next gaming session that will be coming, in about a month or so as my schedule with HDS allows.

Well all, I've got some good news to share. I have been re-enstated as a Commercial Driver at CTI and will have opportunities for Game Mastering on alternate fridays like we've initially been working for. With that being the case we should be able to have some really good scenarios.
Oh and nobody put your PC out the AL, JOC.
