Full Series Season Three - What are you looking forward to?

I'd very much like to see Ventress around again. As much as Bane is a great villain, I have a soft spot for Asajj because of her eventual quasi-redemption and passive-aggressive relationship with Obi-Wan. Of course, I'm not sure I'll get my wish, I get the feeling they're focused on Bane now and have left Ventress to the comics...

 

I take it you haven't seen the leaked preview for Season 3, where Ventress is back!

 

I REALLY want to see a red lightsaber!!! I mean, we saw NO red lightsabers last season, and I want more Sith in this season! (And more Obi-Wan...perhaps fighting the Sith...)

Also, I was listening to the Forcecast Roundtable for Bounty Hunters, and they mentioned Nika Futterman stating Ventress would have a lot of character development in Season 3!!!!

The OS site posted a trailer for Celebration V. There is a new shot of the VR troopers.

Yeah, still looks like a Jango clone to me.

And I appreciate the idea of a see-through helmet, but that's quite a poor design.

 

Did that extendo S3 trailer happen while I was in Italia?

It's got more than the initial teaser, right?

 

There was some trailer that was released in that Star Wars weekends. It's probably the official trailer, we don't know for sure. It was mostly only extended scenes from the teaser trailer, nothing new.

Gry- Yeah, they look like Jango's clones, and I agree with the poor helmet design.

I believe Ventress in TCW is post the Obsession "quasi-redemption" story arc from the comics, so all bets are off as for where she will end up.

 

No need to do that, rumblewagon. I simply agree that it's a poor design.

 

They look like Jango clones to me as-well. I'm thinking the helmet could be some kind of training helmet of some sort?

 

I do have a theory on what those helmets are for. I think they're made that way so that troopers can get used to fighting with the weight of a helmet, but at the same time it would teach them to use their eyes instead of the options and sensors that a helmet comes with. Could work if that really is a VR environment, and they'd be able to fight in low visibility and whatnot.

 

After viewing the leaked Star Wars Weekend Preview, the "VR Troopers" voices appear to have generic (albeit, gruff) American accents.


One thing I am not looking forward to is Senate-centric episodes, Ahsoka-centric episodes, and Troopers mowing down droid fields.

 

The one thing I am looking forward to most of all are the Ahsoka-centric episodes. I realize that there are other characters in the SW universe who should get their stories told as well; but, ideally, I would like all episodes to be Ahsoka-centric with other characters in supporting roles.

 

Rumblewagon, that's the last bit of baiting I'll tolerate from you. Kindly stop mentioning GGrievous in every other post.

 

When are we gonna get an official release for the leaked S3 trailer? Celebration V? Comic Con?
