    What: End of summer BBQ
    Date: Sunday, September 26th
    Time: Between 12 and 1pm
    Place: Chris's House

Directions: Chris's house is easily accessible via public transportation. Take the commuter rail on the Franklin line and get off at the Forge Park stop. Rides between the station and Chris's house will not be a problem, you just need to let us know what train you're taking so we can be there to get you. For those of you who live close to Chris you can PM him for directions to his house.

What to bring:Volunteer to bring something. Chris was incredibly generous last time and supplied us with nearly everything we needed. Post what you're bringing so 10 people don't show up with hamburger meat.
Here is a list of items for the meet at my house on September 26th. If you don?t see something let me know and add it to the list.

Hamburgers and Chicken (I usually supply these)
Hot Dog and Hamburger Rolls. (I can get these too)
Hot Dogs, Sausage, Potato Salad, Macaroni Salad, Salad, Potato Chips, Tostitos & Salsa, Cheese Puffs, Ranch Dip, Onion Dip, Cheese & Crackers, Pepperoni, Peanuts, Lemonade, Cola, Sprite, Grape, Root Beer, Orange and other drinks. (Wink wink)

It would be great if everyone could bring a little something. Please let me know what you are bringing.

Your fearless leader will be supplying the new DVD set for viewing.

I'll grab some hotdogs and kielbasa. I'm assuming that the buns will be supplied from what I just read.

I'll bring some chips (regular and doritos most likely) and a couple of liters of soda as well. Sorry I don't do salads.

And do my eyes deceive me , is that Jim posting meet stuff? =P

I can bring some more soda. I should be able to make this one.

If I go, I might bring chips or something...pretty hard to keep stuff cool on the 2 trains required to get to Chris's house, after all. [face_plain]

By the way guys, I'd like to point out that RI's September meet is the day before ours. Their meet thread is here. Several of us will be doing both so if you are interested in going, head over to the meet thread and post. :)

Good to see some replies so far I hope everyone can make it!!!

Hey and my house is open to everyone.
You don't have to be a member. So bring a friend if you all like. Just let us know so we make sure to have enough for everyone.

    Thanks,
    Chris

I will bring some soda :) Does everyone prefer cans in a cooler or the 2-liter bottles? I don't have a cooler but if someone else does I can bring cans.

I'll bring potato salad, macaroni salad and pepperoni. I always keep two baseball gloves in my car if someone wants to play catch. One is left and the other is right. I also have my football too.

I wouldn't mind playing some Overpower too.

I have the starter decks I got from Ed :)

Got plenty of other games also: SW Trivial Pursuit, SW Monopoly, etc.

Also I have Atari 2600 and Colecovision hooked up in the back room with the ever so nice...shag carpeting.

I know of a few of you attending and what some are bringing.

I would like to know who else is coming or is not going to be able to make it.

I am doing some stuff around the house and looking to be ready for the 26th which is only 10 days away. :)

A list of the following is what I have:

    Napkins, Plates, Utensils,
Ketchup, Mustard, BBQ Sauce, Onion and Ranch Dips and Chicken.

    Stuff needed:

We will definetly need plenty of snack foods and salsa.
Some cups maybe...but, I have plenty of glasses though.

Hot Dogs and Sausages, Some extra hamburger if someone wants to get some.

I will keep you all updated. :)

Are the pats playing during the meet?

I just looked at the schedule and it says they have a bye that weekend.

Here's what everyone has posted so far:
Roseanna - vegetarian meat substitutes (Morningstar Fajita burgers, Philly Cheesesteak burgers, and Quorn "chicken" patties), beverages of the 21+ variety (I haven't gotten any requests, so PM me if you want something specific)
Jeff - hot dogs, kielbasa, chips (regular and Doritos), a couple of liters of soda
    Rob - chips
    Meri - more soda!
Jim - potato salad, macaroni salad, pepperoni
Mike - tortilla chips and salsa (yay for new members!)

(Rob, I took soda off your list since Jeff and Meri are both bringing some, and Mike, I took hot dogs off your list because Jeff is bringing them)

Chris - napkins, plates, utensils, ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, onion and ranch dips, chicken

Here's what I see as still needed:
hamburger (for you silly carnivores :p)
    hamburger buns
    hot dog buns
    dessert-type items

Chris, let me know if you're supplying any of the above stuff. For those of you who haven't signed up for something (Sara!), there's a list to choose from. :)

Richie and Justin, be sure to post also if you can make it.

Rogue-Girl: Are the pats playing during the meet?

No, but the Sox are @ home against the Yankees.

BTW, I'm likely to be there, but if the weather's going to be bad, it may depend on if Justin's going as well. If it's a good day, I don't mind waiting for the train in Brockton. I printed out the schedules, but left them in the other building, so I'll have to post what train I'll be on later.
