By the way, I figured it probably wasn't fair that I'm not going to be around for almost a week before the deadline, so . . .

NEW DEADLINE (again): May 31

 

Well, that helps a lot, since 15 May was my graduation night. . .

 

Is there any way to just make the deadline May 31st instead? I know that is more than 2 weeks after the original date, but considering graduations and other things, maybe just making it the last day of May will be best.

 

Good idea (and maybe that could get a few more entries in).

Sudden feeling of relief. ^^ I was nearly done, but it was feeling rushed. Now I have time for betaing and revising. Fwew.

 

I'm up to about 7000 words. It's gonna be close

 

Unfortunately getting my entry in on time is going to be a long long shot, but I'd be glad to judge if needed!

I'm going to have to drop out unless some miracle happens and the government outlaws school work. I was so excited for my plot, too.

But possibly if you need help with anything, I might possibly be able to do help out, I don't know.

Aha, making up an entire universe writing in the box is fun. 30 minutes down, 744 words. No semblance of plot

What're the rules on beta-ing? I can't edit my own stuff (you may have realised this from Don't Panic and Panic, Nat ), so could I ask someone else?

Yes, betas are fine You can ask anyone in the whole universe except Souderwan, The_Face, and Alexis_Wingstar.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to sign up for judging. This is one of the worst writer's blocks of my life. I thought with the mega extension, piece of cake, no problem. If there's a next one hopefully I won't be so mental

The problem is, I got 2000 words in and got bored of what I was writing. I hate it when that happens.

 

I did a quick polish pass on my entry last night. I'll probably go ahead and send it in when I get home from work this evening.

 

Awesome No one has sent me anything and the deadline is in about 40 hours. If you guys finish early, you can send them early

 

I'm not finished. 'Tis extraordinarily annoying but I started a new job and didn't really have too much time to write, sadly.
