If a Shi'ido morphed a Clawdite, then could he/she morph into something else once in Clawdite form? Or could it work vice versa?

If you have played the StarWars: Knights of the Old Republic game and completed the GenoHarden side quests then you would already know the answer. :)

Ah, but I haven't, which is obviously why I'm asking the question in the first place...

You don't become the species you morph into I think, you only appear to be of them.

If you mean can a Shi'ido can morph into a clawdite that is mimicking another species, I don't see why not. However, a Clawdite mimicking a Shi'ido would not gain the more extensive shapeshifting abilities of that species, it would be cosmetic only.

i'm not sure why a Shi'ido would actually bother shifting into a Clawdite shifting into something else. a Clawdite shifted into a Rodian looks like a Rodian, so a Shi'ido pretending to be a Rodian would just shift into a Rodian.

however, a clever Shi'ido, if caught shifting, might very well shift into a Clawdite form and say "you got me! i'm a Clawdite!" to lead people astray.

i have a Shi'ido PC in my RPG who's pretending to be a Clawdite, since they're more common, but he just shapeshifts normally.

Ahh, my apologies. I just assumed that since you are using a KotOR era Mandelorian icon that you have played the game. Well, in that game, one of the GenoHarden overseers is a Shi'iDo and when he shifted into a tarantella(sp) beast, it hurt much more than while he's in human form. So, yes a Shi'iDo assume more than just the shape of something when they changed forms.
