    No, theN00_Jedi . Not his true identy as a scarred human. His true identity as a Sith. As Anakin began to transform into a Sith, i.e. amber eyes, so did Palpatine. He was a Sith for many more years. Although he was able to hide the Dark Side's transformation, he was still affected by it. And the Republic would have cared if a Sith was running their government.

    no offense, but this is the least imaginative theory I've ever heard, it's worse than the paalpatine as a clone thing

    it doesn't change the fact that the "art of.." book is using a FIGURE OF SPEECH
