[Soc] Anybody for the Church (nightclub)?

I don't know the general range of music likes/dislikes around here just yet, but Rachel and I, and probably a couple friends are gonna go see Sandra Collins (uber Progressive House DJ from Los Angeles) later this month. Info is as follows:

Where: The Church
When: Saturday, November 29th, 2003

I believe you gotta be 21 to get in. The setting will be close to a rave party (cuz Sandra Collins has a pretty big raver following), but since it'll be in a really popular club, there'll be the usual bouncers and decent security floating around, and there won't be a whole lot of stuff to really worry about, except having fun.

SO, if anyone's interested, PM me and we'll figure out a place to meet and stuff.

Sorry, sonny -- my sister's the same age as you, and I wouldn't let her go w/ me to a non-21 rave party if she begged me. I can be responsible *sometimes* (actually, it's not so much as BEING responsible, as AVOIDING it...bwa ha ha)...

Of course, everyone here also knows I have yet to get drunk, too.

Trust me... Your safe, JD... Just ask Mistress about "The Church" I't one of her favorite hang-outs... The only reason it's called "The Church" is because they took an abandoned church building and turned into a night club.

 

I've been many times, and we've gone as a group a couple, it's fun.

I'll double check the age thing. Most clubs do that big "X" on yer hands if yer a minor.

 

I've never seen any of the club's owned by Regas do that, they're pretty much strictly 21+.

Oh, and yes -- the wet bar at The Church is more extensive than what you'll find in a Catholic church, too.

 

i thought they had 18+ days but they were usually on thursday nights or something? maybe i was wrong, i never went... im not much of a clubber... dancing doesnt seem natural to humans.

and why do you not doubt that I'll be having more fun at home? lol. I think The Church would be a great time...but my chances of having an outstanding time at home are increasing every day.
