And if I happen to mention his regular hang-out is a seedy dive of a long-defunct chain of gourmet restaurants, but no one bothered to remove the old sign bearing the legend of Good Valors, Zorr?

I really, really would love to read this novel if one ever came about. It's too epic to not be told in some fashion or form

Star Wars is so many things by so many people that it's only natural some aspects of it will indeed die at some point.

    Jedi Ben

Good subject for a fanfic on these boards, IMO!

Seriously, though, Jawa...With A Gun highlights I think an element we all secretly believe. That there's plenty more fun in the SW universe.

We just need, I think, something to spark that feeling a bit more.

Zayne Carricks and Wraith Squadrons and ambitious projects like Legacy.

Have you not checked out Kight Errant Charles? No shortage of ambition there but it's been axed! :(

KE is a project that I think came at the wrong time, unfortunately. Basically, a lot of fans, myself included weren't particularly happy the project came after the ending of an already popular series. It created the (false) impression hat one series was being axed for the other. The series also suffered from the fact Kerra Holt is a likable enough protagonist but completely lacked a supporting cast to play off of. While the idea of portraying New Sith Space as "Sith North korea" was an interesting idea, I think people were probably also thrown by the fact the Sith in the comic take Over-The-Top and then go x1000 more so.

I will say I liked both the novel and Escape tremendously.

To many others it's their appeal. They all have a distinct goal or viewpoint. Daiman doesn't have a normal sense of morality due to his belief that he's the only thing that exists while Odion wants to destroy as much as he can to rid himself of the physical pain life causes him and take over the rest and ect

I understand. I like Kerra Holt just fine but I want my Sith MORE understandable than batshavit.

Indeed. In Post-ROTJ especially, every "I am your father" moment needs an "Ootiedie" to balance out the dark with the fun. Was Jar Jar when this got forgotten? With him putting the EU so far off the fun characters that for years nobody wanted to do a story with a Jawa with a Gun?
Market forces... pfft. The problem was with new management. They lacked the vision for Sith Burgers and Saber Fries. Had the Gryph still been around during TOR, none of this would have happened.

A bit overly dramatic aren't we?

I'm pretty sure that Star Wars' "A" universe is still there.

Let's see, *reaches over and picks up a Knights of the Old Republic trade* Yep, still there.

    *flips through it*

Hey, it's Zayne Carrick! Funny guy!

Sort of like how the Lord of the Rings isn't dead, mostly because it's still on my shelf.

If there is is a reboot, Damian did it.

Problem solved. The Creator of All was just having a bad nightmare.
