Des Moi, IA Star Wars Minis Game Day Updates: **Playing on Sundays**

We are changing it up it sunday. 250 pts armys, no one under 30 points, anything goes.

 

Faction free? We might actually come for that.

 

Talked to Jay yesterday, it will be faction free. Doug and I are definitely coming and we might have a friend with us as well.

 

Good, it was just me and chuck last sunday.

 

Yeah, we'd decided to take a break for a few weeks. I'll explain why this weekend.

 

This sunday we are trying all melee teams, faction free, 200 pts.

 

8/5/07 is 150 point armies, nothing over 16 points. No super stealth, super speedy Han, or stormies with defenses over 20! Woo hoo

 

We're doing the custom Endor again this weekend. Bring Ewok Gliders and Warriors if you have them!

 

Next Sunday is 1 faction character with all of the rest Fringe. In a few weeks, Dajuan and I have a 3 era scenario we would like to do. More to come...

 

Normal DCI this week. Hopefully more that just Melissa, Doug, and I show.

 

Just an FYI, we're going to start to play on Friday evenings now as well as Sunday. Friday's will be fun days, most likely no DCI (or at least not for along time). This Friday I think we'll do 200 point squads, bring as many different squads as you want. We're also going to be teaching a few newbies to play and giving squad building advice. Anyone is welcome if you have minis or not. You can either borrow figs from Hothie and I or Jay. Jay's has a lot of singles to buy as well. Hope to see some of you there!

 

Looks like we won't be there Sunday, since we are going to go to Taylor's play that day.

 

The Fridays are going really well! We may end canceling the Sunday games since no one has been showing, since about mid summer.

 

We're doing two booster drafts this week. This Friday we're doing a one pack draft and Sunday we're doing a two pack draft. For the one pack, you just buy one booster pack and play with what you get. The two pack, you buy two and make a 150 point army out of both packs.

 

This Friday we're going to play 200 point armies instead of 150s.

 

Despite the snow, I think a few of us are going to try and make it tomorrow. I'll be there, barring any highway shutdowns.

 

Hothie's mom is in town so we won't be at minis this Friday. We will be there on Sunday though.

 

Next Sunday will be Luke squads. Every squad must include a Luke of some sort. 200 points, faction based

 

Hothie you will like my squad this week. I'm doing the Battle of Hoth.

 

That should be fun

FYI, hothie and I are going to drop Friday minis for a while.

 

I will also have a Hoth-related Luke I will be playing that I have not played yet.

 

This Sunday we will try and do a Geonosis battle, but we need 6 people in order to do it. It's a 6-person mass battle, so it should be fun. We will try and start at 12. See you then!

 

Depending on who shows, we will either try Geonosis again, or bring competitive and fun armies to play with.

 

Seeing as how Jays is closed on Easter next Sunday, we won't be doing Hoth that day. We will resume playing again on the 30th with a release tournament. Essentially, you buy 2 boosters and build a 150 point faction-free army from that. Hope to see you there!
