Before Vader, before Maul, before Sidious... there was a Dark Lord of the Sith that cast a shadow of terror and destruction across the galaxy. The ancient forces of the Republic and the Jedi banded together to stop the torrent of the dark side, and bring an end to Exar Kun's rule.

Emperor Palpatine's personal assassin. Palpatine talked to his "Hand" through the Force, whenever and wherever she was. A deadly spy and assassin, Jade often posed as a concubine and only a few knew of her real identity. When the Emperor died, her Force powers vanished and a desire for revenge was born, since she was haunted by nightmares where the Emperor gave her a last command - "You will kill Luke Skywalker".

Dark Lord of the Sith

Bio: Born and kidnapped on the world of Naboo by a Sith Lord, Palpatine was raised in the art of manipulation and deceit. He devised a plan to destroy the Jedi Order and to rule the galaxy as a Sith. He managed to be elected as Senator on Naboo. At the same time, Padme Naberrie was elected as Queen and her name was changed to Padme Amidala.

At this time, a law was passed that put taxes on trade routes throughout the galaxy. Enraged, the Trade Federation used Darth Sidious a.k.a Palpatine to blockade his own planet. Palpatine's plan was to have Naboo invaded, and a treaty signed by the Queen Amidala to have it legal. Enraged, he would put a vote of no confidence in Valorum in the corrupted Senate of the Republic, and become Chancellor through sympathy.

However, things did not go as planned, and Amidala escaped with the help of Jedi Knights Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi. After an encounter with a boy on Tatooine, the Queen reached Coruscant where Palpatine had thought of a Plan B. Here he manipulated Amidala into putting a vote of no confidence in Valorum thus allowing Palpatine to be put into office.

Amidala returned to Naboo and overthrew the Federation invasion herself, along with Anakin who destroyed the droid control ship. Yet it was not without loss, for through all the fighting the Jedi Knights were aware of the Sith's existance, through Palpatine's apprentice, Darth Maul, who killed Qui-Gon and was killed in return by Obi-Wan.

Now, he needed a new apprentice who could devise a rebellion. He needed Count Dooku, a rogue-turned Jedi.

Using Dooku, he managed to get a clone army on the backwater system of Kamino beyond the Outer Rim. The source was bounty hunter Jango Fett. For ten long years, Palpatine waited for the army to ready itself through the art of growth acceleration. When the time came, he sent Count Dooku to do the dirty work. The Separatist Movement was formed and at this same time, Senator turned Padme Amidala returned to Coruscant where she would vote 'nay' for the military creation movement.

It was here that Dooku sent Jango Fett, the source of the army, who's weapons no doubt came from Kamino, to attempt to assassinate Amidala yet not succeed. To avoid doing the dirty work himself, Jango sent his own Zam Wessel, who he knew would fail, to attempt to assassinate the Senator.

It led to her doom as Jedi Knights Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker tracked her down. Jango killed her himself. Anakin was sent away to keep Padme safe, while Obi-Wan was sent to trace down the bounty hunter.

Using the dart found on her, he tracked it down to Kamino where the army and Jango were discovered. When he contacted the Jedi of his discovery, he was sent to capture Jango, which did not work.

Obi-Wan tracked Jango to the termite world of Geonosis where he discovered Count Dooku's plot of war.

He contacted Anakin, now on Tatooine with Padme, to send his discovery to Coruscant where Palpatine manipulated several Senators into giving him emergency powers. The Clone Wars had begun.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

the greatest and most overally sound jedi in the galaxy. As wise as Master Yoda, as powerful of Master Windu. Obi-Wan Kenobi was trained by Qui-Gon Jinn and was taught well. His hardest task was training the chosen one, Anakin Skywalker, who later turned to the evil ways of the darkside. Vader was seduced by the dark side of the force. Obi-Wan became one with the force to help train Luke Skywalker, the one and "only" hope of the rebellion and Obi succedded in training him. Luke redeemed his father. No longer Vader, Obi-Wan's greatest apprentice was Anakin Skywalker again. (this sounds more like an Ani bio but it is for Obi-Wan Kenobi )

Of an unknown race and planet, Master Yoda is thought to be, quite possibly, the wisest Jedi in recent (and movie) history.

After going toe to toe with Palpatine, Yoda has declared that he must go into hiding.



A couple weeks ago, he has retracted those statements to take part in a new TV Show/ Game!

 

Darth Maul

Bio: Darth Maul was a weapon forged by the hateful energies of the dark side to ensure the victory of the Sith over the Jedi order. A creature of pure evil, Maul had no personality beyond his ultimate devotion to his master, Darth Sidious. His goal was singular -- to exact vengeance upon the Jedi for the decimation of the Sith ranks.
The Republic first came to know of Maul only as a mysterious attacker. While Qui-Gon Jinn was escorting the fugitive Queen Amidala from Tatooine to Coruscant, Darth Maul swept down from above, lunging at Qui-Gon from his rocketing Sith speeder. Maul's attack was relentless; he hammered down lightsaber strikes against the accomplished Jedi Master, forcing him back time and again. It was only the timely interception of Qui-Gon by the Queen's Royal Starship that spared him.

Qui-Gon was utterly surprised and unprepared for such an attack. The Sith, everyone knew, were extinct, disappeared from the galaxy for a millennium. Yet the evidence was there -- a dark attacker, trained in the Jedi arts, brandishing a lightsaber no less.

Maul was dispatched by Darth Sidious to track down the Queen, a feat he accomplished through mysterious yet effective means. Traveling aboard his sleek Sith Infiltrator, Maul scouted the galaxy for the missing monarch, and reported his findings to his master. When Amidala returned to Naboo, Maul was there, waiting to face the Jedi once more.

As an undeniable example of his skill and devotion, Maul plunged headlong into battle against two Jedi warriors. Using his double-bladed lightsaber, Maul held off both Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn in the heart of the Theed Royal Palace. When the Jedi became separated, Maul killed Qui-Gon with a well-placed saber strike. Kenobi, enraged, attacked Maul. This barrage was deflected by Maul who used Obi-Wan's touching of the dark side as a conduit for a Force attack; using the Force, Maul pushed Obi-Wan into a deep mining pit. Kenobi held onto an outcropping for dear life. Calming himself by calling upon the light side of the Force, Kenobi was able to surprise Maul, and cleave him in half with his saber.

A pained look of bewilderment crossed Maul's tattooed face as death overtook him. His body fell into the melting pit, splitting in two as it tumbled into oblivion.

It was only a matter of time before Sidious acquired a new apprentice.

 

Exar Kun

He began as a simple student, studying under the revered Jedi Master Vodo-Siosk Baas. Like the dark apprentices that would follow throughout history, a basic impatience undermined all of Kun's training. His pride did not have the boundaries that his instruction did. Eager to ascend beyond his Jedi abilities, Kun abandoned his master and journeyed to the strife-torn world of Onderon. There, he encountered the spirit of Freedon Nadd, an ancient Sith who gave him further instruction.

Through Nadd's disembodied commands, Kun voyaged to the Sith mausoleum world of Korriban. There, ancient Sith spirits tried Kun's resolve. His body was crushed in a cave-in of tons of rocks, and Kun could not call upon the Force to help himself. Yet, the dark side offered what the Force couldn't. By giving into his fear and rage, Kun was able to heal himself and clear the obstacles. He emerged from the caverns transformed, fueled by the dark side of the Force.

Following examples of ancient Sith Lords that preceded him, Kun came to the long forgotten Sith temples of Yavin 4. In Sith tradition, he took on an apprentice, the fallen Jedi Ulic Qel-Droma, and the two unleashed a scourge that would forever scar a galaxy. In the ages before Darth Bane's restrictions, Kun and Qel-Droma were able to recruit more Jedi into their ranks. Many young Jedi turned against their masters and slew them. Kun himself extinguished the life of Master Baas Baas in the halls of Coruscant's Senate chambers. It was a dark time indeed.

Kun was fixated in unleashing pure, unbridled power through ancient Sith means. He practiced Sith magic and alchemy, crafting horrific creatures on the moon of Yavin 4. He brandished a Sith lightsaber with twin blades that increased the potent weapon's lethality. His followers triggered ancient technologies that detonated the stars of the Cron Cluster, wiping out entire worlds and searing the surface of Ossus.

Finally, a joint Republic and Jedi taskforce came to Yavin 4 to capture Exar Kun. He knew he could not survive the attack, so he summoned his dark side energies and trapped his consciousness into the temples his Massassi warriors had built for him.

For four millennia, Kun's disembodied spirit slumbered. The presence of a dozen Force-sensitives stirred his consciousness. It was now several years after the Battle of Endor, and Jedi Master Luke Skywalker had begun training Jedi at an academy on Yavin 4. Exar Kun's spirit sought to corrupt Skywalker's students and bring about a dark side reign again. He controlled Luke's most powerful student, Kyp Durron, but in the end, Luke's students united and were able to finally dispel Kun's spirit.

Kyp Durron

Time and again Kyp Durron has faced incredible hardship, and has emerged stronger from the experience, yet not unscathed. Durron's attunement to the Force is very powerful, and the restraint taught by his master, Luke Skywalker, could barely contain the impetuous young Jedi. When Durron abandoned his restraint and gave into his emotions, the results were disastrous.

Durron was born to outspoken political activists in the Deyer colony of the barren Anoat system. When their views bordered on treason, Imperial stormtroopers raided the Durron home and rounded up the dissidents. Kyp and his parents were sentenced to hard labor at the Kessel spice mines while his older brother Zeth was drafted into the Imperial military at Carida.

A year into his sentence, Kyp's parents were killed in a prison revolt. The orphan toiled away in pitch darkness, extracting precious glitterstim for refinement in the processing centers of Kessel. During his time there, his path crossed that of a mysterious old woman named Vima-Da-Boda, who told him of the Force and helped nurture his nascent talents. But even that contact was denied him as Vima was transferred elsewhere.

For eight years Durron slaved away with little hope of liberty, until New Republic representative Han Solo and Chewbacca were incarcerated by the corrupt Kessel government. Solo and Chewbacca shared a work detail with Kyp, and the seasoned youngster provided valuable survival tips to the Republic heroes.

Solo and Chewie included Kyp in a daring prison break that saw the trio escape in a commandeered Imperial shuttle. Kyp demonstrated enormous Force-potential when he instinctively navigated his way through the maelstrom of black holes bordering the Kessel system. Although their ship was drawn into the Maw Cluster, Kyp somehow safely navigated them into the "eye" of the storm, and a top secret Imperial installation.

Although freed from the Kessel mines, Han, Chewie and Kyp were again imprisoned, this time by Imperial forces unaware that the Galactic Civil War had played itself out nearly a decade earlier. Maw Installation was a secret think tank of theoreticians and engineers carrying on the late Grand Moff Tarkin's legacy of superweapon development. Sunken into the nearly inaccessible Maw Cluster, these Imperials had no idea as to the true state of the outside galaxy.

Locked up in the complex, Solo was able to convince the naïve scientist Qwi Xux the errors of her ways and the true nature of the Empire. Breaching decades of Imperial brainwashing, Solo appealed to Qwi's passion for life, and the willowy Omwati alien liberated Solo, Chewbacca, and Kyp, and fled the Maw Cluster in the installation's most stunning achievement -- the ultimate weapon-ship, the Sun Crusher. Once in possession of the Sun Crusher, the New Republic did away with the controversial craft by plunging it into the heart of the Yavin gas giant.
In fleeing the Maw, it was again Kyp Durron who instinctively navigated his way to freedom. At this time, Luke Skywalker was gathering candidates for his newly formed Jedi academy on Yavin 4. He tested Durron and was astounded by the youth's potential. The years of hardship had tainted Kyp, though. Having lived without freedom or family for years, he made a promise to himself never to be weak or overpowered again. This determination, fueled by anger and fear, brought Kyp ever closer to the dark side.

Skywalker's first class of Jedi students was an eclectic mix of Force-attuned beings from across the galaxy. Kyp was easily the most powerful, and he quickly grew impatient at Skywalker's pace of instruction. Unbeknownst to Luke, an evil presence had infested his praxeum. The shadowy spirit of a long-dead Dark Lord of the Sith, Exar Kun, resided in the ancient temples of Yavin 4. Seeing a capable youth easy to exploit, Kun whispered promises of power to Kyp and was secretly training him.

Possessed by the dark side, Kyp was determined to be the first new Dark Lord since the deaths of the Emperor and Vader. F
