It was HUGE! This gonna trend for sure!

 

It wasn't that funny, IMO. And no spoilers or anything for anyone wondering. I recorded it on my phone, so I'll upload it if it's not online sometime soon just for those that are curious, but honestly there was nothing to see here =)

 

I have to fully disagree. The fact that it involved a bunch of big name celeb cameos wasN'T nothing to see.

 

The only thing funny about SNL is the fact it bills itself as funny.

 

All I know is there's a thumbnail that looks like Daisy Ridley doing a spoof audition with one of the SNL castmembers. She and John Boyega are in NY, so I assume he appeared as well. I need details people!

 

Like I said, it was huge. All 2 appeared plus JJ, Emma Stone, Jon Hamm... and more.

I bet ABC/Disney is a little unhappy it's not their network though.

They have tomorrow's American Music Awards to do another Force Awakens plug.

 

I know, wonder if new music or not though... either way, LOVE IT!!!!

Well, I only made it 1 minute into that and was QUICKLY reminded why I haven't watched SNL since the 90's.

Long, long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away ... SNL had been funny, now ... now we know that 'Holiday Special' isn't the worst thing out here.

Still, more hype is always good.

 

Ridley and Boyega flew to New York for that?

 

Cos youre old and remember the years you were growing up or in college as the best years?

 

Not quite sure I'd call 37 old... But no, IMO the show hasn't had any talent in almost 20 years.

 

It was pretty funny. Only cuz it had to do with Star Wars. I had an SNL phase a year or two ago but stopped being worth it when only 1/4 skits I liked

This is incredibly superficial, but the skinny jeans-tucked-into-boots combo made John look Hobbit-scaled (@2:12 specifically). Unless you're above-average height that's not a good call.

No offense Finn don't shoot me.

And yeah the material they gave him and Daisy really sucked. Wasted potential.

 

I'll wait till John and Daisy make appearances on Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon... Oh wait, I don't watch those either.
