Didn't even know there was one of these, let's get it back and active people!!!!!!
How many people actually live in Anchorage? I do.
Do we have any kinda conventions or anything like that at all up here? I'd appreciate some responces ASAP!

I live about 70 miles north of Anchorage, but i make it into town from time to time. We dont usually have anything going on, and as you can tell, not many prople post here.

Lol. Thanks for the warning. Well, I guess I'm stuck for the rest of the Christmas season in Whitehorse... Next time though...

On what to do to get the word out... simple business cards or posters around town help at least let people know you exist. For example, for the DVD release (past tense, I know) if some people had made a presence in costume willing to get information out, then a lot more people would at least know about the fanforce, if nothing else. A simple thing to do would be to just ask if you can leave a homemade "recruitment" poster at the comic book store is a start. Good luck. MTFBWY

You know, if we can get this board reinstated in the active forums, then there's the possibility that we could have it changed to the Alaska Fanforce, considering we don't seem to have enough people directly in Anchorage...

It seems there are only one or two of us in the Anchorage Area, so maybe we can arrange the meeting needed to make it a official chapter over IM or something? I don't reallly wanna drive to Fairbanks.
