lol norway discovered 34km^2
Not sure if this has been posted here, but I saw it on Buzzfeed's 26 Issues the United States are Not United on thing and it has some funny maps there. Anyways, I love Wisconsin!
More bars than grocery stores in Boston and the North Shore? Sounds about right.
I like that Johnny Cash one, as well as this one. Of course everyone here loves Marky Mark. But who the **** is Russell Means? Only actor I don't recognize here.
EDIT: Oh wait, it's which actor from each state is most popular. Now that makes sense. I was gonna say; I guess South Dakota isn't some weird gathering place for Russell Means fans.
I would have never guessed Tom Cruise is from New York state.
This map shows where rubber duckies ended up after they fell off a ship carrying them in the middle of the Pacific Ocean.
Well I'm glad someone finally found a functional Northwest Passage. Er, backwards.
imagine those still out there somewhere, all by themselves..
Ernie would be devastated if he knew.
my favorite one is all the countries the British have invaded!
It think Britain should start invading the Moon. So many non-UK countries planting their flags on its turf. About time for a British invasion. And let's be honest: who will stop them? The US and Russia don't care anymore. They'll probably start another cold war soon anyway. This is the perfect time for England to start a new colony.
Oh, look. Southern California is at risk (not that that's at all surprising). Yaaaay.
Interesting. Never looked at Nevada that way.
I call it pop here. While in the military on the west coast it was soda.
I call it soda. My mother calls all soft drinks "drinks".
I don't know anyone who calls soft drinks "Cokes." Maybe it's because I live in the city and everyone here is from somewhere else.

This map has been shown a couple of times, IIRC.
I call it soda, like a normal person. Pop is okay I suppose. Calling it "Coke" is just blatantly incorrect if you're referring to soft drinks as a whole. I'm curious about what some of the "other" counties call them.
I say pop as well. I feel weird whenever I say soda.
From Sunday's elections.
Poor Green Party.
I live slightly west of what this map covers so I don't get to have a cool title.
