I have my books double stacked, and need more room....... :(

Went to a Harry Potter quiz night tonight and my daughter won second place for costume and our team came second place and got a MASSSIVE basket of sweets and lollies!! Had a great time.

*strides in and collapses at the bar* I am in the middle of a three-day weekend and have had drama piled up to an AT-AT's cannons. What is good for drama-drowning around here before I throttle somebody and end up with a bounty on my head? *growls in annoyance*

I'd recommend NyQuil since you'll pass out and not have to deal with anything.
That has an alcohol content, right?

Why not just have a drink?

NyQuil is for when you have a cold, right?

Those drugs have a frightening opposite effect on me for some reason. I will bounce off the walls and be hyper enough to be deemed clinically insane if I ingest that stuff.

Same here. My heart races and I feel wigged out or whatever.

I don't even like to take Advil or the equivalent.

    Now beer, that's another story...

I can do beer. That won't bother me a bit. So...what's good around here? I am still tempted to throttle somebody...

Eh. I don't like beer. It all tastes too much like water to me. Hard liquor though... Mmm, I love the burn in my mouth.

Guinness has that bitter bite that I have yet to find in any other beer. As for the burn of liquor...I think the only thing I have tasted so far that burns somewhat is sake, which isn't too bad. Haven't had that in a while though.

There is a beer that has a bite that I like. Ginger beer. Goes down super rough and I love that.

Ginger alone is capable of burning the crap out of your sinuses. I can just imagine what it's like in beer. XD

It's the perfect beer for someone with masochistic taste buds like me. Great for washing down a taco with hot sauce made from ghost peppers, carolina reapers and habanero peppers on it.

If you like that, there's a hot (spicy hot) ginger ale down in the Carolinas. I had it one time traveling through there. I had that and my wife had boiled peanuts. Both of us enjoyed our treat and said *yuck* at the other.
