So the opening of TLJ has Luke asking Rey "Who are you?" to which she does some tricks with his lightsabre. Luke probably then says "Is that all you got?" and lifts the Island they are standing on 100 feet into the air.

 

And then nightangel faints...

yeah, make as much fun of me as you want.

 

... I find the syntax of the tweet-transcribed dialogue inconsistent with the tone of TFA screenplay.

 

then luke's like, i can make my own starkiller base in like a couple minutes. lets just move this whole planet using the force. rey's like, you can DO that??? yeah, says luke, there are no limits when you believe. also, before i got my cool last name skywalker, i was a starkiller.

 

I could see his response to her saber skills display being unimpressed- possibly comedically so - like Hopkins disarming Banderas in the first Zorro film. I hope their relationship has some fun and wit in it.

Luke drops the island, except for the parts upon which he and Rey are standing. A close-up on the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon as the ship, with Chewbacca and R2-D2 inside, falls to the ocean and breaks upon impact, its wreckage sinking into its depths. Luke pulls aside his cloak and draws his lightsaber, igniting it. He uses its red blade to slice the hilt of his old lightsaber in half, and allows the smoldering halves to plummet to the ruined island below him. "You have much to learn about the failure of the Jedi, and much more to learn if you are to become a Sith."

And then nightangel faints.

Luke: "Who are you?"
Rey : "I"m Rey."
Luke: "Okay good for you. I actually meant who am I?"

 

Totally off topic. But I'm pretty sure the reason the writers didn't have us get Han/Luke interaction in the ST, because it would turn into Star Wars: Grumpy Old Men the Movie.

 

someone was speculating this and that Luke lost his memory because of a weapon. Hmmm, don't think this this will happen, but who knows.

 

Luke: "Who are you?"
Rey:"I'm Negan!"

 

This is what was shown (these aren't in order, but the Luke scene is early in the reel):

-Luke in a hut on Ahch-To asking Rey “Who Are You?”​

-Finn in a First Order uniform on the bridge of a Star Destroyer (or other big ship).
-General Leia.
-Several shots showing Rey spinning her lightsaber in practice.
-Captain Phasma.
-Chewie roaring.
-Poe in his X-Wing cockpit yelling “It’s now or never” to BB-8.
-Ships flying in space.
-An X-Wing coming in for a crash landing.

 

We only have five weeks until we presumably see this footage for ourselves. It all feels like snippets ripped out of the first trailer, but what do I know? But five weeks nevertheless until we finally see something.

 

But Fishing and border collies would have actually been good. Maybe they digressed over blue milk and antiques talking about the knitted sweaters that Leia made. Maybe that's why Ben turned, those bloody woolly jumpers

 

If these are clips from the upcoming trailer, I wonder if we won't see Dern, KMT and BDT in the first trailer?
