Back for it's 6th year, it's the FFUK Fantasy Football League 09/10

If you took part last year, you should automatically be put straight through after creating your team. If you are new to the league this year, Go onto this website and create an account and your team of fantasy footballers. Go to the search league function and enter the code 1165408-225941.

    -----Past Winners----
    *04/05* Loon FC (Ross McDonald)
    *05/06* Welshguy Rovers (Wayne Mullins)
    *06/07* Welshguy Rovers (Wayne Mullins)
    *07/08* Jase's Mavericks (Jason Curtis)
*08/09* The Jungle Cubs (Daniel David)

    But first: Rules -

    FF-UK Fantasy Premier League Rules

    1) All teams entering must be FF-UK/JC Forums members.

    2) The team scoring the lowest point scores in a gameweek will be gamebanned for 24 hours. Furthermore, they will have to put up with the custom title, Football Loser, until the next gameweek. This is to encourage competitiveness between teams.

    3) In the event of two or more teams getting the joint-lowest point scores in a gameweek, the lowest ranking team will receive the gameban.

    4) All gamebanned accounts must fill in an unban request to be unbanned.

    5) The eventual winner of FF-UK Fantasy Premier League will receive a VIP-ship and colours for a time to be sorted out between the mods. Most likely 2 weeks to one months worth.

    ----------
Let's get it started! Good luck everyone!

My teams returning (with the yellow socks): Orn-cambe F.C

Important year for Welshguy Rovers. After winning the title 2 years on the bounce, the fans expect a certain amount of
success and while we qualified for Europe last season, anything other than a win this year would be seen as very bad
news by the board/fans of the red and whites.

I've learnt quite a few lessons from last years league. The biggest of these being don't use your unlimited free transfer
    card in the third week!!

Always hit and miss when you start the season. With so many new players brought in and the form books ripped up, anything
    can happen!

Still, gotta have either Gerrard or Lampard. Thats a given.

After the success of winning the Euro 08 tournament the transfer to the league last year and ended up in a Europa league spot for the club team.
Hoping to achieve a higher finish this time around. Mid-season decline needs to be overcome.

Cod Metal Kings have been bought out by a new billionaire businessman who has dispensed with the big star Cristiano Ronaldo and decided to create a team rather than relying on just one man. With his billions, and with his affection for Drum and Bass music, the new boss has renamed the club, Back to the Jungle. Hopefully this team will finish the season as strong as it starts.

Having romped home to the title in their first season, the neutral's favourites are back in town. The Jungle Cubs return with a new strategy: attack, attack, attack!

With all the cash being splashed on a killer offense, pundits and fans alike are intrigued to see whether their cheaply-assembled back line can hack it. But I'm hoping for big big points from my midfield. Lampard or Gerrard? What about Lampard and Gerrard!

    Let's be havin ya!

Kicking myself that I didn't pick Fabregas. About as solid a start as I could have hoped for, but this next set of fixtures is a tricky one...

Starting to get a good run together and chipping away at the top.

Now second, 20 points behind the leader. Happy with progress thus far!

I've been itching to make it 3 titles for a couple of years now, could this be the year of Welshguy Rovers - Champions?

I'm moving up the table well now after a poor start to the season.

It's very helpful when Rooney is on such good scoring form :p

Got a feeling this one is goig down to the wire.

We've both had leads, only for the other person to catch back up!

With so few points in it, could go either way. :)

Almost there! I thought I had it, but it's worryingly close once again...it's a three-way title race, just like the real thing!

Thought you had won it Jungle Cubs with that Drogba 50 pointer three weeks ago, but i've rebuilt my squad and
gone about closing the gap yet again!

With six games left the lead is just 14 points, with Psycho's XI close by waiting for either of us to slip up.

I didn't win 2 titles by throwing in the towel early. Welshguy Rovers isn't giving up till its all over.

    Till Rovers raise again!
