Did you picture us closer to our icons? I know I don't look much like Adi Gallia - damnit, I want those tentacle thingies! They're stylin'... But anyway, still not telling! Why are you guys guessing that I'm in the black and Bithy in the red (not that I'm saying right or wrong either way, eh? ).

Oh, and I agree with you about the thread... that kind of makes me leary. Also, I don't think that starting a new one would really make it load any faster. That really has more to do with the number of pics on a page than the total number of pages. Maybe I'll start a new one when we reach a nice round number like 6000. But, if I'm out-voted on this, I'll definitely do what you guys would prefer.

 

I whole-heartily agree with Bithy it's not the amount of pages guys, it's the pics (and there's nothing wrong with pics), I have 56k, and I don't complain about the slow loading, I'm use to it, cause it's the only thing I have.
Usually when I get up to get a coffee, or a drink, and when I come back, the page is there.
I'm perfectly happy in this thread. Outside of it, people are leaving, but here, everyone is accepted. No-one is flamed (though that hasn't happened to me) and it runs smoothly.
That's why it's been running since the Fellowship opened in cinema!
And it will remain running until Peter Jackson releases the Hobbit, or when "Hidalgo" is released, next to "Troy" or Boyd/Monaghen's film is out...
even if I have to keep it running.

EDIT: On the matters of Version 2, after some consideration and reading what other people have said, I think we should stick with this one. Then again, I am pretty much a newbie to the thread, so my vote shouldn't really count much either way

I say lives are overrated, when you've got LotR to watch. Aw, that's such a cute Pippin pic - he's bloody adorable. I really hope we get the Ent Draughts in the EE, not to mention that scene at Isengard, of which most of us have seen pictures (won't elaborate for the sake of people who haven't read the books ).

 

I would love to stick with this thread as well, but for etiquette purposes, we might want to at least consider starting a new one.
