I've only met two of my Dad's relatives, but they both spoke english. The only time I hear from them is when they call my Dad on his birthday and at christmas. It's a very difficult conversation

Do you just call them the same thing on both parent's sides?

 

Opa Visser and Opa van Zwienen, but the last one has been dead for a couple of years now. I still have my two Oma's, tho.

Yeah, same here Cris, except it's my mom's parents(Nani-grandmother, Nana-grandfather) that's dead now. Just have my dad's parents.(Dadi and Dada)
