Okay, thanks for the information. Can we get a dramatis personae. And that friggin sucks about Jaina/Jag. That was one redeeming quality about this series, and they ended it?

 

That would be an Epic Fail.

It's enough that Tahiri said on her trial that she had intimate relationship with Jacen.

As for Abeloth - it turned out to be no match for Luke

It's just that I've been defending FOTJ, since I really liked the angle with Abeloth and the MindWalkers and the Celestials, I thought that was what this was really going to be about. Now I have no idea where they are going.

At least they learned from LOTF's predictability, but there's such a thing as too much unpredictability.

 

Yeah, can we get the DP? Also, what are Daala and the Moffs up to in this book? Why did Jaina break the engagement? Any other Jedi go insane? Also, any Jedi Council meetings?

 

Nope, not really.

 

I'm thinking that Jaina doesn't break up with Jag but rather breaks off the engagement so she can focus on being the "Sword of the Jedi" until the various crises with Daala, the Jedi, and her uncle have been resolved. Once that's done, she'll get back with Jag.

But the revelation of Abeloth - either that's a red herring, or Luke's been duped once again. What do I mean by that? He went after Lumiya because he believed she killed Mara. She was a danger and a threat, but she wasn't the most dangerous one. Abeloth might be the FOTJ's "Lumiya", so as to speak.

 

I have it on good authority the mods have a DP laying about somewhere...

 

It's a break up. It's not that she doesn't love him, it's just the same story for this couple - duty in their ways or some crap like that. At the end of the book Jaina must have felt like an idiot that she sacrificed her personal life to help Luke and then it turned out that her help was not needed and he send her home

 

Is Jag and Jaina breaking up the big major earth shattering event of the book and I've gotta ask after the whole big build up with Abeloth I've got to say I'm disapointed to see her go out in book 5, if she does indeed get taken out after all. So I'm gussing the blurb from Vortex about Luke and Ben having to run for there lifes is them having to flee the Sith?
