What more scary is a couple of weeks ago he turned on the comp and sat looking at the screen for 5 mins before he realised that the monitor wasn't turned on

Ah, my mum tried to turn the TV on using my calculator once - that was a good laugh for the whole of 20 seconds. That's how long it took for her to catch up with me and whacked me with a wooden spoon

It was the white sock thing that reminded me of all the other dress restrictions in Manchester.

I think white in general was considered bad - and a white T-shirt with black jeans was a definite no no LOL!

We went on holiday to Cornwall once a few years ago when me and my sis were kids and they had those teeshirt printing places and we all went in and my mom decided she wanted a design off the wall so she went and asked the guy for the "Nice ferny leaves on the wall" and the guy looked puzzled and asked her which ones and she pointed and said "those nice ferny leaves over there on the wall" my sis and I looked at the thing and it was Maruana (I can't spell it) leaves so we all started choking back sniggers and my dad just left the shop... they guy told my mom what they were and she apologised and came outside where we were all in hysterics and now we remind her about the "nice ferny leaves" all the time even now

I love this colour scheme and the banner although it makes the emoticins look a little sick for some reason

Ah, check out JC Coms - the guy who did the banner has posted on there - he's the guy with the title Halloween Banner Winner Something like that anyway - you know those Yankie titles
