Just saw a special on it last night, well half of the special. Return to Middle Earth it was called, think the docos on the DVD.

Treebeard is in it. I was a bit worried about what they had done to the Warg riders. I needn't have been.

It looks very cool.

 

Yeah, you can see Treebeard in the trailer on the DVD, not sure about the one on tv.

I'm wondering how they are going to integrate the events for the different groups. Will they follow the books and do the stuff with the rest of the fellowship and then show Frodo and Sam, or will they cut back and forth?

 

I'm guessing for pacing reasons they will be cutting back and forth between events. Altough seeing how the story is structured there will be more of Aragorn and co in this one than there will be of Frodo and Sam.

 

Good, the less whining I hear from Frodo the better. And you guys complain about Luke!

 

Did anyone else see the little snippet on the 10 news? It was just about the premiere in New York and had a little footage of the actors, but then they showed a short clip of Frodo.

I read an articel in todays courier mail, it said online reveiwers are polarized in their opinion of TTT. Then again, TTT is the hardest of the trilogy to read, although it is to set up TROTK. So maybe that will translate into a "good enough" movie to set up TROTK.

BTW I saw HPATCOS the other day, it was pretty good, better then the 1st one.

I thought it was the easiest! It's certainly my favourite and the one I finished quickest.
